Lexi Brown Award Runner of the Week (Women) Week Of 10/16/2023 Sport Cross Country School Wartburg College Year Senior Position Hometown New London, Iowa High School New London Women’s Cross Country – Runner of the Week Lexi Brown, Wartburg College Sr., New London, Iowa/New London Brown finished third out of 395 total runners with a time of 21:31.9 at the Augustana Interregional Invite. The senior finished 7.2 seconds behind first place. The No. 3-ranked Knights finished second out of 42 teams, only falling to No. 1-ranked University of Chicago. Wartburg collected 68 team points. Wartburg and Brown will not compete again until the A-R-C Championship on October 28 in Pella, Iowa hosted by Central College. Brown is a three-time All-Conference performer while also earning All-American honors last season. The New London, Iowa native is collecting her third-career Runner of the Week award, and third this season (9/18/23, 10/2/23, 10/16/23).
