Allison Feigenbaum Award Female Athlete of the Week Week Of 10/2/2023 Sport American Rivers Conference School Wartburg College Year Junior Position Hometown Marion, Iowa High School Linn-Mar Female Athlete of the Week – Volleyball – Offensive Player of the Week Allison Feigenbaum, Wartburg College Jr., MB, Marion, Iowa/Linn-Mar Feigenbaum led the Wartburg Knights to a 3-1 week that included their first league win of the year. In league play, the Knights fell to league foe, Coe, in three sets, while downing Buena Vista (3-0). In non-conference action, Wartburg swept No. 23-ranked Cornell and picked up another win over Grinnell (3-0). The junior hit .450 on the week, while posted a blistering .733 hitting average in the win over Buena Vista. She tallied 31 kills,13 digs, five solo blocks, and 12 block assists. The lone contest on the Wartburg schedule this week will be when they travel to St. Paul, Minnesota for a test against No. 5-ranked Northwestern (Minn.). Wartburg’s record sits at 8-11 overall and 1-1 in league action. The Marion, Iowa native is collecting her fourth-career Offensive Player of the Week accolade, and second of this season (9/26/22, 10/11/22, 9/18/23, 10/2/23).
