Lexi Brown Award Runner of the Week (Women) Week Of 10/2/2023 Sport Cross Country School Wartburg College Year Senior Position Hometown New London, Iowa High School New London Women’s Cross Country – Runner of the Week Lexi Brown, Wartburg College Sr., New London, Iowa/New London Brown finished first out of 200 total runners with a time of 22:03.40 at the Dan Huston Invitational at Wartburg’s home event. The senior finished 4.6 seconds ahead of second place. The No. 2-ranked Knights finished first out of 18 teams, with 31 points. Brown and the Knights will compete again on October 14 when they travel to Rock Island, Illinois to compete at the Augie Inter-Regional. Brown is a three-time All-Conference performer while also earning All-American honors last season. The New London, Iowa native is collecting her second-career Runner of the Week award, and second this season (9/18/2023).
