The fifth-year goalkeeper played all 90 minutes and made five crucial saves in the draw on the road. His biggest save of the day came in the first half on a penalty kick to keep the match scoreless. He faced nine shots in the contest. Wartburg’s defense has not allowed any goals in four out of their last five matches with Woody as the goalkeeper in each match. This shutout marks the third for Woody this season. The Knights take the field again on Tuesday night when they travel to Wisconsin-Platteville then Wartburg opens conference play Saturday in Waverly versus Dubuque.
