Jeron Senters Award Special Teams Player of the Week Week Of 9/11/2023 Sport Football School Coe College Year Freshman Position Wide Receiver Hometown Marion, Iowa High School Kennedy Football – Special Teams Player of the Week Jeron Senters, Coe College Fr., WR/PR, Marion, Iowa/Cedar Rapids Kennedy Senters made a splash in the Kohawks 44-14 win over Wisconsin-Eau Claire on Saturday. The first year handled all the return duties for Coe, tallying 50 return yards on three chances. Senters scored his first special teams’ touchdown in a Kohawk uniform in the first quarter, returning a punt for a 47-yard touchdown to put Coe up 14-0 early in the game. Additionally, Senters capped off his game with a 29-yard touchdown catch in the fourth quarter for his second receiving touchdown of the season. Coe began the season 2-0 in non-conference action as they prepare for conference action to begin this Saturday when they travel to Pella to face-off with Central College. The Marion native is earning his first-career Special Teams Player of the Week accolade.
