He joins Simpson’s Garrett Pochop (2016, 2017), Loras’ Kevin Cavers (2012, 2013), and Wartburg’s Harrison Kibombo-Lugujjo (2004, 2006). In eight conference matches, Vila led the league in points (20) and goals (8). Additionally, he finished tied for first with two game winning goals. The fifth-year senior forward was tied for third with four assists during conference play. Vila was one-for-one on penalty kicks. In addition, Vila scored the lone goal in the conference tournament championship to claim the conference’s automatic berth to the NCAA Tournament.
