Jay Fjelstul Award Golfer of the Week Week Of 5/1/2023 Sport Men's Golf School Luther College Year Junior Position Hometown Decorah, Iowa High School Decorah Men’s Golf – Golfer of the Week Jay Fjelstul, Luther College Jr., Decorah, Iowa/Decorah Fjelstul and the Norse competed at home in the Luther Spring Classic to finish their regular season. Luther finished first out of eight teams, with a two-round score of 583 (299-284). The junior won the event by two shots over teammate Mark Devlin. He finished with rounds of 72 and 68 (140, -4). Fjelstul and Luther will be in action again this Thursday – Saturday in Muscatine, Iowa at the A-R-C Men’s Golf Championship looking to repeat their team title. The Decorah native is picking up his first career Men’s Golfer of the Week honor.
