High School Seneca Male Athlete of the Week – Men’s Outdoor Track & Field – Track Performer of the Week Christopher Collet, Wartburg College Sr., Verona, Ill./Seneca Collet and members of the Wartburg men’s outdoor track & field team competed at the UW-Platteville Invitational on Friday. The Knights took eighth in the 14-team field, compiling 45 team points. Collet set a new A-R-C all-time record in the 5,000-meter run, finishing the race in 13:57.29. His time stands third in NCAA Division III this season. The Wartburg Knights are back in action this Friday and Saturday at the UW-La Crosse Phil Esten Challenge. The Verona, Illinois native is picking up his first-career Outdoor Track Performer of the Week honors. Additionally, Collet has earned two Indoor Track Performer of the Week accolades (1/24/22, 3/8/21) and four Cross Country Runner of the Week honors (10/17/22, 10/3/22, 9/19/22, 9/6/22).
