Emma Beck Award Pitcher of the Week Week Of 4/17/2023 Sport Softball School Central College Year Freshman Position Hometown Holland, Iowa High School Grundy Center Softball – Pitcher of the Week Emma Beck, Central College Fr., RHP, Holland, Iowa/Grundy Center Beck and the No. 21-ranked Central College Dutch went 2-0 in league play this week, sweeping Simpson College in a doubleheader. Beck threw 6.1 innings in the game two 8-7 victory. The first-year right-hander had a season-high 11 strikeouts while surrendering just one earned run. The No. 21 Central Dutch improved to 22-4 overall and 3-1 in league play. Central will host Nebraska Wesleyan University on Wednesday in another A-R-C doubleheader. The Holland native is garnering her second Pitcher of the Week recognition this season (4/17/23, 3/13/23).
