High School Nekoosa Women’s Outdoor Track & Field – Field Performer of the Week Emma Seipel, University of Dubuque Jr., Nekoosa, Wis./Nekoosa Seipel and the Spartans had their second event of the outdoor season where Dubuque hosted the Good Friday Open. Dubuque won the event with 220 team points out of ten teams that participated. The junior won all three individual events she competed in. In the long jump, Seipel jumped a 6.04m, which ranks as the top jump of the Division III outdoor season so far. Seipel jumped a mark of 11.11m in the triple jump, to win the event out of eight competitors. With a 100m dash that ranks 21st in Division III, she ran a 12.14. She also competed in the 4x100, where the team compiled a time of 48.93. Seipel and the Spartans are back in action this weekend when they travel to UW-Platteville on Friday and Saturday. The Nekoosa, Wisconsin native is collecting her second-career Women’s Outdoor Field Performer of the Week honor (5/2/22, 4/10/23).
