Jaidyn Williams Award Field Performer of the Week (Men) Week Of 4/10/2023 Sport Outdoor Track & Field School University of Dubuque Year Junior Position Jumps Hometown Cedar Rapids, Iowa High School Linn-Mar Men’s Outdoor Track & Field – Field Performer of the Week Jaidyn Williams, University of Dubuque Jr., Cedar Rapids, Iowa/Linn-Mar The Dubuque Spartans hosted the UD Good Friday Open where they won with 262.5 points. Williams continued his dominance in the long jump and triple jump by winning both events. Williams’ long jump mark of 7.15 meters stands No. 16 in Division III this season. In the triple jump, Williams’ leap of 14.42 meters ranks him tied for No. 6 in Division III this outdoor season. Additionally, Williams was a member of the 4x100 meter relay team where they finished with a time of 42.61. Williams was named the 2023 A-R-C Indoor Field Co-Most Valuable Performer with teammate Cade Collier. This is the first time the Cedar Rapids native is earning Men’s Outdoor Field Performer of the Week accolade.
