Kassie Parker Award Female Athlete of the Week Week Of 4/3/2023 Sport American Rivers Conference School Loras College Year Graduate Student Position Distance Hometown Guttenberg, Iowa High School Clayton Ridge Female Athlete of the Week – Women’s Outdoor Track & Field – Track Performer of the Week Kassie Parker, Loras College Gr., Guttenberg, Iowa/Clayton Ridge Parker was in action this past week at the Stanford Invitational. The graduate student broke her previous NCAA Division III all-time 10,000-meter run record on March 31st. Parker ran 32:36.22, breaking her previous record by 27 seconds. She finished eighth overall out of 35 runners in the event and was the only DIII runner in the event. The Guttenberg, Iowa native is collecting her fifth career Women’s Outdoor Track Performer of the Week honor (4/1/19, 4/12/21, 4/4/22, 5/2/22, 4/3/23). Additionally, she has earned Indoor Track Performer of the Week honors five previous times (3/2/20, 2/2/21, 1/24/22, 2/7/22, 2/28/22).
