High School Northfield Men’s Golf – Golfer of the Week Haakon Rustad, Luther College So., Northfield, Minn./Northfield The Norse finished second at the Monmouth Fighting Scots Spring Invitational this weekend. Rustad tied for sixth with teammate Jay Fjelstul as the top A-R-C finishers at the invitational. The sophomore shot a 75-74-149 (+7) in the two-day event. Rustad and the Norse posted a two-day team score of 608, finishing just eight strokes behind the first-place team. The Northfield, Minnesota native is a 2022 All-Conference honoree after finishing third. Rustad is picking up his first career Men’s Golfer of the Week honor.
