High School Woodstock North Softball – Pitcher of the Week Ellie Thurow, Coe College Sr., RHP, Woodstock, Ill./Woodstock North Thurow and the No. 23-ranked Coe College Kohawks went 4-0 during the week, including a 2-0 start in conference play. Thurow was dominant for the Kohawks in the circle, racking up two wins while striking out 17 batters. The senior right-hander allowed just five hits and two runs in 12 innings of work. In the first game of the week, Thurow recorded Coe’s second no-hitter of the season as she pitched six innings.
