The sophomore hit .556 with a 1.711 OPS over his nine at-bats, including three extra-base hits. Additionally, Taylor recorded two stolen bases, eight putouts, and two assists. Game 1: Buena Vista 11, Dubuque 5 – 3-for-5 (.600), 2 R, 2 RBI, 2 3B Game 2: Buena Vista 6, Dubuque 5 – 2-for-4 (.500), 3 R, RBI, 2B, HBP The Beavers improved to 11-4 overall with a 2-0 start in conference play. Taylor was named the 2022 A-R-C Position Player of the Year for his performances last season. The Redfield, Iowa native is earning his second career Position Player of the Week honor (3/27/23, 3/15/22).
