The first year combined with another first year to throw Simpson’s first one-hitter since April of 2021. Dunwoody pitched the first six innings of the game, allowing just one run on one hit with four walks and nine strikeouts. He improved to 1-0 on the mount this season. Dunwoody held his opponents to an impressive .050 batting average. The Ankeny native is garnering his first-career Pitcher of the Week accolade.
