Kendra Cooper Award Pitcher of the Week Week Of 3/6/2023 Sport Softball School Luther College Year Position Pitcher Hometown Lansing, Iowa High School Kee Softball – Pitcher Player of the Week Kendra Cooper, Luther College Fifth Year, P, Lansing, Iowa/Kee Cooper helped lead the Luther College Norse to an 8-0 win over Gustavus Adolphus on Saturday and an eight-inning, 3-2 win over St. Olaf on Sunday. The fifth year pitched 14 innings and only allowed two runs while facing 54 batters and striking out 22 batters. On Saturday, Cooper pitched the complete game (six innings pitched), allowing three hits, no runs, and 10 strikeouts. When Luther faced off against St. Olaf, she pitched the complete eight innings allowing seven hits, two runs, and tallied up 12 strikeouts in the win. Cooper is picking up her sixth-career Pitcher of the Week recognition (3/2/20, 3/1/21, 3/8/21, 5/3/21, 5/17/21, 3/6/23).
