Cade Collier Award Male Athlete of the Week Week Of 2/27/2023 Sport American Rivers Conference School University of Dubuque Year Senior Position Throws Hometown Le Claire, Iowa High School Pleasant Valley Co-Male Athletes of the Week – Men’s Indoor Track & Field – Co-Field Performers of the Week Cade Collier, University of Dubuque Sr., Le Claire, Iowa/Pleasant Valley At the A-R-C Indoor Track & Field Championships, Collier was named Co-Men’s Most Valuable Field Performer. He scored 20 points for the No. 20-ranked Dubuque Spartans as he finished with two gold medals in the two events he participated in. In the shot put, Collier put up a mark of 15.89m to win the gold medal. He continued his success with a throw of 18.09m in the weight throw to earn the individual title. This is the first time the Le Claire native is earning Indoor Field Performer of the Week. The senior has collected four Outdoor Field Performer of the Week honors (5/16/22, 5/9/22, 5/2/22, 4/19/22).
