High School Seneca Co-Female Athlete of the Week – Women’s Indoor Track & Field – Field Performer of the Week Grace Alley, Loras College Sr., Seneca, Ill./Seneca Alley and No. 4-ranked Loras College travelled to Storm Lake, Iowa to compete in the A-R-C Indoor Track and Field Championships where Alley was named Field Most Valuable Performer following her performance. Alley picked up the gold medals in three events at the championship. Her first top finish was in the pentathlon, with 3,400 points. Pentathlon events included the 60m-hurdles (9.33, second place), high jump (1.65m, first place), shot put (10.64m, first place), long jump (5.36m, first place), and 800m (2:43.63, sixth place). Her second gold medal came in the triple jump, with a jump of 12.10m. The senior’s final gold medal of the championship was in the high jump, where she cleared 1.68m. She additionally earned a fourth-place finish in the long jump (5.36m). This marks the Galena, Illinois native’s third-career Indoor Field Performer of the Week accolade (2/27/23, 2/28/22, 12/12/21). Additionally, Alley has earned Outdoor Field Performer of the Week honors twice (4/25/22, 5/17/21).
