  • Schnurr led the Coe Collee Kohawks to a miraculous conference tournament run following being the last team in the tournament.
  • The Kohawks began the week traveling to Lincoln, Nebraska to face off against No. 3-seeded Nebraska Wesleyan for the second time in the matter of four days. Coe walked away with the 78-60 statement win in the quarterfinals as the No. 6-seed.
  • The junior tallied 20 points, three rebounds, two assists, one steal, and one blocked shot in the win.
  • On Thursday, Coe travelled to Dubuque for face off against No. 2-seeded University of Dubuque where the Kohawks came home with the 78-73 exciting win to bounce the conference regular season runner-up.
  • In the semifinals, Schnurr accumulated 22 points, nine rebounds, three assists, and one blocked shot.
  • On championship Saturday, Schnurr and the Kohawks travelled back to Dubuque to take on No. 4-seeded Loras. In a loud, exciting environment, Coe finished the conference postseason run with a 93-86 win to win their first ever conference tournament title and return to the NCAA tournament for the first time since 1976.
  • In the conference championship game Schnurr had an impressive 36 points to lead the Kohawks while going 14-for-15 from the field. He additionally had eight rebounds, two assists, two blocked shots, and one steal.
  • The junior averaged 26 points per game and 6.67 rebounds in the three road game victories.
  • Schnurr and the Kohawks await their seed and first-round location for the NCAA Tournament that will be released today, Monday, February 27 at 12:00 p.m. (CST).
  • Coe’s record stands at 16-12 overall and 7-9 in conference action heading into the NCAA Tournament.
