High School Lincoln East Men’s Indoor Track & Field – Track Performers of the Week Eli Etherton, Nebraska Wesleyan University Jr., Lincoln, Neb./Lincoln East The No. 13-ranked Nebraska Wesleyan Prairie Wolves competed at the Nebraska Tune Up, hosted by the University of Nebraska. Etherton became the first ever in the conference to run under an eight-second 60-meter hurdles, with his 7.99 run to finish fourth out of 20 competitors in a field with numerous Division I athletes. His time puts himself at the top of the NCAA Division III Qualifying list for this season. He also broke his own school record set just a few weeks ago. The next time the Prairie Wolves are in action is this weekend at the conference championships at Buena Vista University in Storm Lake. The Lincoln, Nebraska native is picking up his third Indoor Track Performer of the Week honor of his career (2/20/23, 2/6/23, 1/23/23).
