High School DeLaSalle Institute Women’s Indoor Track & Field – Track Performer of the Week Marion Edwards, Loras College Sr., Chicago, Ill./DeLaSalle Institute The No. 4-ranked Loras College Duhawks competed at the UW-La Crosse Indoor Eagle Open on Friday and finished second out of eight teams at the event. Edwards competed in the 60-meter dash, an event she took first in out of 24 competitors, with a time of 7.60. The senior’s 60-meter dash time is the second fastest in Duhawk history and currently sits ranked third on the NCAA Division III Qualifying list. In the 400, Edwards won the event out of 19 competitors, with a time of 57.78. The Duhawks and Edwards will be in action this weekend at the conference championship in Storm Lake, hosted by Buena Vista University. The Chicago, Illinois native is earning her fourth-career Women’s Indoor Track Performer of the Week honor (2/20/23, 1/30/23, 1/17/22, 12/13/21) in addition to earning the honor twice as a member of the 4x400-meter relay team (2/13/23, 2/14/22).
