High School DeLaSalle Institute Women’s Indoor Track & Field – Track Performer of the Week Marion Edwards, Loras College Sr., Chicago, Ill./DeLaSalle Institute Edwards and the No. 4-ranked Loras College Duhawks competed at the Aurora University Grand Prix this weekend. The Duhawks came home with a second place finish out of 19 teams. Edwards took the crown in the 60-meter and 200-mteer runs, posting top five national marks in both events. The senior ran a 7.68 in the 60-meter run and 24.92 in the 200-meter run. Edwards time in the 200-meter moved her to second in program history. The Duhawks will travel to Waverly, Iowa this weekend for the Wartburg Indoor Select. The Chicago, Illinois native is earning her third-career Women’s Indoor Track Performer of the Week honor (1/30/23, 1/17/22, 12/13/21) in addition to earning the honor as a member of the 4x400-meter relay team (2/14/22).
