High School River Ridge Women’s Indoor Track & Field – Field Performer of the Week Breya Christopher, Wartburg College Sr., Galena, Ill./River Ridge Christopher competed at the Jack Johnson Classic, hosted by the University of Minnesota, this past weekend. The senior posted top 10 national marks in both the high jump and the triple jump. Christopher took fourth place in the high jump with a 1.67m (5’ 5.75”) to put her tied for ninth on the NCAA Division III Qualifying List. In the triple jump, Christopher posted a jump of 11.90m (39’ 0.5”) to move her tied for fourth on the national qualifying list. The No. 14-Wartburg Knights are back in action this weekend as they host the Wartburg Indoor Select. This marks the Galena native’s second-career Indoor Field Performer of the Week accolade (1/30/23, 3/8/21).
