Max Cleveland Award Track Performer of the Week (Men) Week Of 1/30/2023 Sport Indoor Track & Field School Simpson College Year Junior Position Hometown Indianola, Iowa High School Indianola Men’s Indoor Track & Field – Track Performer of the Week Max Cleveland, Simpson College Jr., Indianola, Iowa/Indianola The No. 24-ranked Simpson College Storm competed at the Grinnell Invitational on Saturday where they finished fourth out of 11 teams. Cleveland took home the crown in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.25. The junior posted a time of 8.20 in the prelims which stands 11th fastest in Division III this season. This is his second victory of the year in the 60-meter hurdles. Cleveland and the No. 24 Simpson Storm will be back in action this weekend at the Bearcat Invite in Maryville, Missouri and the Iowa State Classic in Ames. The Indianola native is garnering his first-career Indoor Track Performer of the Week honor.
