High School Illini West Female Athlete of the Week – Women’s Basketball – Player of the Week Caydee Kirkham, Coe College Fr., G, Carthage, Ill./Illini West Kirkham led the Kohawks to two conference wins over the last week. Coe defeated Dubuque in a mid-week conference matchup (77-64). Shooting 73% versus the Spartans, Kirkham tallied 20 points for Coe. She also added a whopping 9 assists and 3 rebounds. In a closely contested game, the Kohawks downed the Beavers at home (61-55). Kirkham added 16 points going 4-for-6 from the field and 8-for-10 from the charity stripe. She ended the week with 36 points, 2 steals, 15 assists, and 7 rebounds. Coe improved their record to 12-3 overall and 4-2 in league action. The Kohawks host Wartburg on Wednesday. The Carthage, Illinois native is earning her first Player of the Week accolade.
