Madeline Shea Award Performer of the Week Week Of 1/9/2023 Sport Women's Swimming & Diving School Luther College Year Junior Position Freestyle, Butterfly Hometown Minneapolis, Minn. High School Minnehaha Academy Women’s Swim & Dive – Performer of the Week Maddie Shea, Luther College Jr., Minneapolis, Minn./Minnehaha Academy Shea and the Norse competed in a dual meet against conference opponent, Loras College, and came away with a 181-48 victory. The junior hit the wall first in the 1,000 freestyle with a time of 11:27.77. Shea also secured first place in the 500 freestyle with a time of 5:38.43. The Norse improved to 4-3 on the season. Luther is back in action this weekend when they host the Norse Sprint Invite. The Minneapolis native is earning Performer of the Week honors for the first time in her career.
