High School Charlotte Christian School Men’s Basketball – Player of the Week Peter Lash, Nebraska Wesleyan University So., F, Charlotte, N.C./Charlotte Christian School Lash led the Nebraska Wesleyan University Prairie Wolves to a 2-1 record during this two week stretch. Before Christmas, Lash led NWU to an 88-63 win over Westminster (Mo.). Following Christmas, NWU travelled to Texas for the UMHB Cru Classic when they defeated Sul Ross State University (84-80) and fell to the tournament host Mary Hardin-Baylor (64-74). Lash scored 30 points in their victor over Sul Ross while shooting 55% from the field, 63% from behind the arc, and 80% from the free throw line. The sophomore averaged 25.67 points per game and 8.33 rebounds per game over the three games. Nebraska Wesleyan improved to 6-6 on the season and 2-2 in league play. Lash earned First-Team All-Conference his freshman campaign. The Charlotte, North Carolina native is earning his fourth Player of the Week honor (11/29/21, 12/6/21, 12/20/21, 1/31/22, 1/3/22).
