Madison Fleckenstein Award Player of the Week Week Of 12/12/2022 Sport Women's Basketball School Loras College Year Senior Position Guard Hometown Asbury Iowa High School Hempstead Women’s Basketball – Player of the Week Madison Fleckenstein, Loras College Sr., G, Asbury, Iowa/Dubuque Hempstead Fleckenstein led the Duhawks in an upset win over No.9-ranked UW-Eau Claire over the weekend. Loras fell to UW-Platteville earlier in the week to end the week with a 1-1 record. Versus UW-Platteville, she added 12 points and 6 rebounds. The senior recorded 21 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 assists in the upset win. Fleckenstein averaged 16.5 points per game and 6.5 rebounds each game. The Duhawks pushed their record to 6-2 overall and have begun conference play with a perfect 3-0 record. Loras and Fleckenstein will be back in action December 19 and 20 at the Cruzin’ Classic in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The Asbury native is earning her third-career Player of the Week accolade (12/20/21, 2/21/22, 12/12/22).
