Grace Lueken Award Defensive Player of the Week Week Of 11/7/2022 Sport Volleyball School Coe College Year Junior Position Middle Hitter Hometown Dubuque, Iowa High School Wahlert Catholic Volleyball – Defensive Player of the Week Grace Lueken, Coe College Jr., MB, Dubuque, Iowa/Wahlert Lueken helped the No. 21-nationally ranked Coe College Kohawks take home the A-R-C tournament title and earn the league’s automatic qualifier to the NCAA Division III Volleyball Championship. The Kohawks defeated Dubuque (3-2) in a thrilling 5-set semifinal match and Buena Vista (3-1) in the championship match. The junior tallied 11 blocks, including one solo block. In addition to her defensive performance, Lueken recorded 10 assists and two service aces. The Kohawks improved to 27-5 overall and 8-0 in league play. Coe will be in the NCAA Division III Volleyball Championship for the third time. The Dubuque native is earning her first-career Defensive Player of the Week honor.
