The sophomore defender played a vital role in allowing just five shots on goal over the two matches. Gimenez played in just 35 minutes of the semifinal victory over Simpson and a full 90 minutes in the shutout tournament title match over Loras. The Norse have an overall record of 12-3-5 heading into the NCAA Tournament. The Santiago, Chile native is garnering his first Defensive Player of the Week honor.
