San Fernando Vila helped lead the Luther Norse to a conference tournament title with wins over Simpson (4-1) and Loras (1-0). The fifth-year senior scored two goals and added two assists over the two matches. Vila gave the Norse an early lead in the victory over the Storm, scoring in the third minute of the semifinal match. The Norse forward scored the lone goal in the championship match against the Duhawks to send the Norse to the NCAA tournament. Vila is a three-time All-Conference performer in addition to being named 2020 (Spring 2021) Offensive Most Valuable Player. The Madrid, Spain native is collecting his fifth-career Offensive Player of the Week honor (11/5/18, 10/4/21, 9/12/22, 10/11/22, 11/7/22).
