Ella Koloc Award Defensive Player of the Week Week Of 10/31/2022 Sport Volleyball School Coe College Year Freshman Position Defensive Specialist Hometown Dundee, Iowa High School West Delaware Volleyball – Defensive Player of the Week Ella Koloc, Coe College Fr., L, Dundee, Iowa/West Delaware Koloc helped the No. 20 nationally ranked Coe College Kohawks secure the A-R-C regular season title while leading the Kohawks to a 5-0 record on the week. The Kohawks defeated Dubuque (3-0), MSOE (3-0), Benedictine (3-0), Wisconsin Lutheran (3-0) and Elmhurst (3-0). The freshman libero had double-digit digs in all but one match, posting totals of 17, 24, 14, 7, 11. Koloc registered just three reception errors over the five matches. In addition to her defensive performance, Koloc recorded 13 assists and eight service aces. The Kohawks improved to 25-5 overall and claimed the A-R-C regular season title with a perfect 8-0 in league play. The Dundee native is earning her third-career Defensive Player of the Week honor (9/19/22, 10/24/22, 10/31/22).
