Burke Lauseng Award Performer of the Week Week Of 10/31/2022 Sport Men's Swimming & Diving School Nebraska Wesleyan University Year Freshman Position Hometown Watertown, South Dakota High School Men’s Swim & Dive – Performer of the Week Burke Lauseng, Nebraska Wesleyan University Fr., Watertown, S.D./Watertown Lauseng helped lead Nebraska Wesleyan to a two-day sweep over Luther College (140-96, 120-85). The freshman swam five individual events, taking home the title in each of them. On Friday, Lauseng swam in three events, winning each of them. In the 200-yard freestyle, he finished with a time of 1:48.48. Lauseng swam the 200 IM in 2:03.02 on Friday. The first year swam the 500-yard freestyle on Friday in a time of 4:56.25. On Saturday, Lauseng improved his 500-yard freestyle time to 4:55.61. Rounding out his first-place finishes is the 400 IM on Saturday in a time of 4:21.40. The Prairie Wolves will have a small break and won’t be in action until Friday, November 18th. The Watertown, South Dakota native is garnering his first-career Performer of the Week honor.
