Cael O'Neill Award Special Teams Player of the Week Week Of 10/11/2022 Sport Football School Wartburg College Year Junior Position Hometown Solon, Iowa High School Solon Football – Special Teams Player of the Week Cael O’Neill, Wartburg College Jr., K, Solon, Iowa/Solon O’Neill helped the No. 17-ranked Wartburg Knights to a 35-28 victory over Central College on Saturday. The junior kicker made two field goals and three PATs in the win. In addition, O’Neill had seven kickoffs for an average of 56.4 yards per kick. The No. 17 Knights have a perfect 6-0 overall record and improved to 4-0 in A-R-C action. This is the Solon native’s second-career Special Teams Player of the Week honor (9/12/22, 10/11/22).
