At the No. 1 singles slot, Martinez defeated Brooke Sailer of Nebraska Wesleyan 6-7(6), 7-6(3), 10-8. Luther improved to 6-1 overall and 4-0 in league play. Martinez is a 2021 All-Conference performer in singles and doubles. The sophomore is picking up her second Player of the Week honor in her career.
