The Knights defeated Wisconsin-Whitewater 3-2 on Monday, September 26. Wartburg’s defense has allowed 1.5 goals and five shots on goal per match this week. In addition, the junior defender scored the lone goal with a header in the Simpson match that led to a draw (1-1). The Knights are now 5-1-4 overall and 1-0-1 in conference play. This marks the Iowa City native’s first-career Defensive Player of the Week nod.
