Kassie Parker Award Runner of the Week (Women) Week Of 10/3/2022 Sport Cross Country School Loras College Year Graduate Student Position Hometown Guttenberg, Iowa High School Clayton Ridge Women’s Cross Country – Runner of the Week Kassie Parker, Loras College Gr., Guttenberg, Iowa/Clayton Ridge Parker finished first of 316 runners at the Nationals Preview Meet hosted by Olivet College. The graduate student won the 6k race by 23 seconds, finishing with a time of 20:31.2. Parker was 20 seconds off her personal best and school record time she set at the national championship a year ago. The Loras Duhawks collected 244 team points to finish eighth out of 36 teams. Parker is a four-time All-Conference performer and 2021 NCAA National Champion. The Guttenberg native is collecting her 14th-career Runner of the Week award (9/2/19, 9/23/19, 10/7/19, 10/21/19, 9/14/20, 9/28/20, 10/13/20, 10/26/20, 9/13/21, 9/20/21, 10/4/21, 10/18/21, 9/19/22, 10/3/22).
