High School East Dubuque Football – Defensive Player of the Week Josh Kieffer, Loras College Sr., LB, East Dubuque, Ill./East Dubuque Kieffer helped the Duhawks pick up their first win of the season and begin 1-0 in conference play after a 38-35 win over No. 12 Central College. The senior forced a fumble in the fourth quarter that was converted into a Loras’ touchdown. Kieffer also recorded 15 tackles, four of which were solo. The senior linebacker was honored as honorable mention on the 2021 A-R-C All-Conference team. The East Dubuque, Ill. native is picking up his first-career Defensive Player of the Week accolade.
