At the No. 4 singles slot, Burt defeated Central’s Brianna Lindstrom 6-2, 6-1 and Simpson’s Carina Covington 6-1, 6-4. The duo of Burt and Kailey Jay-Kissler, at the No. 2 spot, defeated Central’s Jennifer Larson/Madi Whalen 8-4 and Simpson’s Covington/Kira Anderson 8-0. The Prairie Wolves are off to a 2-0 start in league play. The Lincoln native is garnering her first-career women’s tennis Player of the Week honor.
