Cael O'Neill Award Special Teams Player of the Week Week Of 9/12/2022 Sport Football School Wartburg College Year Junior Position Hometown Solon, Iowa High School Solon Football – Special Teams Player of the Week Cael O’Neill, Wartburg College Jr., K, Solon, Iowa/Solon O’Neill helped lead the Knights to a 27-0 victory over Wisconsin-Stout. The junior was 3-3 in PATs and 2-2 in field goals. In addition, O’Neill had six kickoffs tallying 249 yards, averaging 41.5 yards per kickoff. The Knights improved to 2-0 heading into the first weekend of conference play. This is the Solon native’s first-career Special Teams Player of the Week honor.
