Cameron Bannister Award Defensive Player of the Week Week Of 9/12/2022 Sport Football School Central College Year Senior Position Hometown State Center, Iowa High School West Marshall Football – Defensive Player of the Week Cameron Bannister, Central College Sr., DB, State Center, Iowa/West Marshall Bannister helped the No.12-ranked Dutch to a 31-13 victory over Wisconsin-Eau Claire. The senior had two interceptions in the fourth quarter to seal the deal for Central. Bannister also recorded eight tackles, five of which were solo, and forced a fumble. Central improved their record to 2-0 heading into the first weekend of league action. The senior defensive back is a 2021 Second-Team All-Conference performer. The State Center native is picking up his first-career Defensive Player of the Week accolade.
