At the No. 1 singles slot, Schultz defeated Central’s Jennifer Larson 6-0, 6-0 and Simpson’s Bella Tranquilino 6-1, 6-2. The duo of Schultz and Jania Carter-Johnson, also at the No. 1 spot, defeated Central’s Alex Griggs/Jenna Hernandez 8-4 and Simpson’s Donni Kinghorn/Kennedi Wright 8-3. The Kohawks are off to a 2-0 start in league play. Madison Schultz was the 2021 A-R-C Most Valuable Player. The Jasper, Georgia native is collecting her second-career Player of the Week honor (9/20/21, 9/6/22).
