The senior utility player hurled a complete-game shutout over Luther in the first game of the A-R-C Tournament. The right-hander allowed just five hits and walked one, while striking out six batters. He held the Norse to a .167 batting average through the nine innings pitched. Deardorff improved his season record to 5-3 on the mound. In addition to his performance on the mound, Deardorff batted .353 on the week, collecting six hits, scoring four runs, and bringing five runs in. The Kohawks finished the regular season with a 21-19 overall record and 12-12 in league play. Deardorff was named the A-R-C Pitcher of the Year in 2021. The Dubuque native now has four Pitcher of the Week honors to his name (5/16/22, 5/17/21, 5/10/21, 3/22/21).
