Freshman of the Year – Bryce Parke, Coe College
First-year Coe College 133-pounder, Parke claimed third-place at the 2022 Lower Midwest Regionals to earn a spot at the NCAA Championships. After dropping his wrestle-in match, Parke picked up a decision to earn his way into the consolation bracket. In his first match in the consolation bracket, Parke picked up a hard fought 5-4 decision. In a re-match against Mount Union’s Massey, Parke fell short in the consolation second round, falling 4-2.
