Most Valuable Performer – Zayren Terukina, Wartburg College
Terukina, seeded third at the NCAA Championships, capped off his season with a runner-up finish at this year’s NCAA Championships. The Ewa Beach, Hawaii native opened the tournament with a 10-1 major decision and picked up a decision in the second round. In the semifinal round, Terukina picked up another major decision to advance to the finals. In a hard-fought finals battle, Terukina came up just short, dropping the match 3-2.
