Taylor followed up a stellar year with another stellar campaign, earning her third-career first team all-conference recognition (2018-19, 2020-21) to go along with her second-consecutive MVP accolade. The graduate forward’s efforts helped guide the Storm to a near perfect record (25-1, 15-0 A-R-C) and title of Conference Champions. Additionally, the Creston prep was an honorable mention performer in 2017-18 and 2019-20.

The Creston, Iowa native is the first player in Simpson history to be named back-to-back MVP honors. In addition to Taylor being named MVP, Kate Nielsen, 2012-13; Carrie Larson, 2008-09; and Katelyn Whiton, 2007-08 have all earned that honor in program history.

In Simpson’s 15 conference games, Taylor averaged 15.4 points per game (ppg), second best in the league, while averaging 8.9 rebounds per game (rpg). The graduate forward was extremely efficient in shooting as she ranked third in field goal percentage at .571 and .411 in 3-point field goal percentage.
