Kaitlyn Wilder Award Field Performer of the Week (Women) Week Of 4/19/2022 Sport Outdoor Track & Field School University of Dubuque Year Sophomore Position Throws Hometown Dunkerton, Iowa High School Dunkerton Women’s Outdoor Track & Field – Field Performer of the Week Kaitlyn Wilder, University of Dubuque So., Dunkerton, Iowa/Dunkerton The Spartans competed at the Loras College Easter Mid-Week Invitational on Wednesday, April 13th. Wilder competed in three events, discus throw, hammer throw, and shot put, and took home the title in all three events. In the discus throw, the sophomore took the title with a toss of 47.22 meters and finished over eight feet ahead of second place. Wilder finished on top in the hammer throw with a toss of 54.81 meters. The Spartan sophomore took the title in the shot put with a toss of 14.59 meters. Wilder’s performances have her ranked No. 1/2/2 on the NCAA Division III qualifiers lists and sits No. 1/1/1 in the Midwest region as well as the A-R-C. The Dunkerton, Iowa native is picking up her third-career Women’s Outdoor Field Performer of the Week honor (4/19/22, 4/11/22, 4/4/22).
