High School Belvidere North Men’s Tennis – Player of the Week Tommy Linkenheld, Loras College Sr., Belvidere, Ill./Belvidere North The Duhawks went 1-0 in league play this week with a 7-2 win over Dubuque. Linkenheld was undefeated against the Spartans (2-0) in doubles and singles. In doubles play at No. 1, Linkenheld partnered with Kevin Blomquist had a 8-2 vicotry over Stefan Zrnic and Josh Husemann. At No. 3 singles, the senior collected a win over Ryan Kiddle (6-1, 6-0). Loras improved their record and are now 9-6 overall and 3-1 in the conference. The Belvidere, Ill. native is collecting his second-career Men’s Tennis Player of the Week honor (4/4/22, 3/22/21).
