In the first round the junior has a fall over Cornell College’s Keegan Schultshik (0:50). He won by decision (3-2) in a close match with Zach Steward of Simpson College in the second round. During the semifinal round, Terukina won by decision over Jake Dado of the University of the Ozarks 7-0. Terukina was able to avenge his only loss of the season to No. 3-ranked Javen Estrada with an 8-4 decision. The Ewa Beach, Hawaii native is garnering his second-career Wrestler of the Week honor (2/28/22, 1/31/22).
